The Lumberton Pirates topped the visiting St. Pauls Bulldogs volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Pirates now have a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Seventy-First for a non-league test on Thursday, September 14. Lumberton will confront a Falcons team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Purnell Swett (Pembroke, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 1-7.
The Bulldogs (4-4) will now prepare for their test against Red Springs (Red Springs, NC). The Red Devils enter the non-league test with a 0-4 record. In their last test, Red Springs was knocked off by Hoke County (Raeford, NC), 2-0, in a non-league test.
