New York High School Soccer - Saranac knocks off AuSable Valley

Saranac Chiefs (Saranac, NY) fans were thrilled Wednesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting AuSable Valley Patriots (Clintonville, NY), 5-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Chiefs face the Peru Nighthawks (Peru, NY) in a Northern challenge, on Tuesday, September 19. Saranac will attempt to better on its 5-1 season record. The Nighthawks enter the challenge with a 6-0 record after their 3-2 league win over Plattsburgh (Plattsburgh, NY).
The Patriots now have a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Northeastern Clinton for a Northern test on Tuesday, September 19. AuSable Valley will meet a Cougars squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Beekmantown (Plattsburgh, NY). The Cougars record now stands at 1-2.
