Next, the Rams confront the Bessemer City Yellow Jackets (Bessemer City, NC) in a Southern Piedmont 1A/2A challenge, on Monday, September 18. Highland Tech will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record. The Yellow Jackets enter the challenge with a 0-7 record after their 3-1 league loss to Shelby (Shelby, NC).

The Patriots now possess a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sugar Creek for a Metro Eight 1A challenge on Friday, September 15. Piedmont Community Charter will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 6-3 non-league win over Woodlawn (Davidson, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-2.
