The Palmer Ridge Bears softball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting Air Academy Kadets to 5 in the Bears league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Palmer Ridge improves its record to 10-7 on the year. The Bears travel to Cheyenne Mountain (Colorado Springs, CO) to clash with the Red-Tailed Hawks in a 4A Pikes Peak game on Monday, September 18. The Red-Tailed Hawks come into the game with a record of 10-4. Cheyenne Mountain lost 10-0 in their recent league game against Discovery Canyon (Colorado Springs, CO)

In their next game, the Kadets clash with the Lutheran Lions (Parker, CO) in a 4A Pikes Peak game, on Monday, September 18. Air Academy will attempt to improve on its 10-4 season record. The Lions come into the game with a 10-3 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Arvada West (Arvada, CO).
