Oklahoma High School Softball - Dewey nudges Bristow

September 13, 2023: Dewey, OK 74029

The crowd at Wednesday's league match between the Dewey Bulldoggers (Dewey, OK) and the visiting Bristow Pirates (Bristow, OK), saw Dewey's softball squad nip Bristow by a count of 6-5.

The Bulldoggers now sport a 20-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chelsea for a 3A match on Friday, September 15. Dewey will face a Dragons squad coming off a 4-0 league loss to Sperry (Sperry, OK). The Dragons record now stands at 14-21.

With the loss, Bristow falls to 16-9 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Oologah (Oologah, OK) to face the Mustangs in a non-league match on Thursday, September 14. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 12-15. Oologah won 9-3 in their recent non-league match against Inola (Inola, OK)
