In Wednesday's league contest, the Muskogee Roughers (Muskogee, OK) softball team held off the host Midwest City Bombers (Midwest City, OK), by a margin of 1-0.
With the triumph, Muskogee moves its record to 10-12 on the year. The Roughers travel to Bixby (Bixby, OK) to play the Spartans in a non-league contest on Thursday, September 14. The Spartans come into the contest with a record of 14-10. Bixby lost 9-2 in their recent league contest against Mustang (Mustang, OK)
In their next game, the Bombers play the Booker T. Washington Hornets (Tulsa, OK) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 15. Midwest City will attempt to move on its 7-10 season record. The Hornets come into the contest with a 1-13 record after their 16-0 non-league loss to Charles Page (Sand Springs, OK).
