The Weldon Chargers (Weldon, NC) volleyball overcame the host Northampton County Jaguars (Gaston, NC), 3-1 in Wednesday's league outing.

With the win, Weldon upgrades its record to 7-0 on the year. The Chargers host Northwest Halifax (Littleton, NC) to play the Vikings in a Tar Roanoke 1A outing on Thursday, September 14. The Vikings go into the outing with a record of 1-1.
