The Scituate Spartans held off the host Woonsocket Villa Novans volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Wednesday's league test.
The Spartans now have a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Burrillville for a Division 3 - B test on Friday, September 15. Scituate will confront a Broncos team coming off a 3-0 league win over Toll Gate (Warwick, RI). The Broncos record now stands at 1-1.
The Villa Novans (1-2) will now prepare for their test against Toll Gate (Warwick, RI). The Titans enter the Division 3 - B test with a 2-1 record. In their last test, Toll Gate was nudged by Burrillville (Harrisville, RI), 3-0, in a league test.
