Louisiana High School Football - Newton County Academy sneaks past Ben's Ford Christian

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Newton County Academy Generals football squad scored a close 29-22 triumph over the Ben's Ford Christian Eagles.

The Generals (3-2) will now prepare for their match against Kemper Academy (DeKalb, MS). The Rams come into the non-league match with a 2-1 record.

Coming up next, the Eagles meet the Christian Collegiate Academy Bulldogs (Gulfport, MS) in a MAIS 8-Man 2A District 4 (8 Man) match, on Friday, September 20. Ben's Ford Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Bulldogs come into the match with a 1-2 record after their 34-22 non-league loss to Wilkinson County Christian Academy (Woodville, MS).
