Texas High School Football - DeSoto wallops Miller

September 13, 2024: DeSoto, TX 75115

The DeSoto Eagles football squad scored 57 points and limited the visiting Miller Buccaneers to 21 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Friday.

The Eagles now hold a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Mesquite for a 6A Region II District 11 test on Friday, September 20. DeSoto will meet a Skeeters squad coming off a 31-7 non-league loss to North Forney (Forney, TX). The Skeeters record now stands at 1-2.

With the defeat, Miller drops to 2-1 on the campaign. The Buccaneers travel to Cuero (Cuero, TX) to meet the Gobblers in a non-league test on Friday, September 20. The Gobblers come into the test with a record of 2-1. Cuero won 61-49 in their recent non-league test against Yoakum (Yoakum, TX)
