The Guilford Vikings walloped the host Rockford Auburn Knights football team by a score of 47-0 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Vikings face the Hononegah Indians (Rockton, IL) in a Northern Illinois challenge, on Friday, September 20. Guilford will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Indians enter the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 38-14 league win over Harlem (Machesney Park, IL).
The Knights (0-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Freeport (Freeport, IL). The Pretzels enter the Northern Illinois challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Freeport bounced Belvidere (Belvidere, IL), 38-14, in a league challenge.
