Harper Hornets (Harper, OR) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the host South Wasco County Redsides (Maupin, OR), 45-6 in a league battle.
With the win, Harper advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Hornets travel to Jordan Valley (Jordan Valley, OR) to play the Mustangs in a 1A Special District 1 (6 Man) battle on Friday, September 27. The Mustangs go into the battle with a record of 2-0.
The Redsides now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Mitchell/Spray/Wheeler for a 1A Special District 1 (6 Man) battle on Friday, September 20. South Wasco County will play a team coming off a 54-19 league win over Wallowa (Wallowa, OR). The record now stands at 1-1.
