The Henley Hornets football squad scored 19 points and limited the host Marist Spartans to 16 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Friday.
The Hornets now hold a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Summit for a non-league test on Friday, September 20. Henley will meet a Storm squad coming off a 34-7 non-league loss to Wilsonville (Wilsonville, OR). The Storm record now stands at 0-2.
With the defeat, Marist drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Spartans host Seaside (Seaside, OR) to meet the Seagulls in a non-league test on Monday, September 23. The Seagulls come into the test with a record of 1-1. Seaside lost 32-14 in their recent non-league test against Banks (Banks, OR)
