Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Agape Christian Knights (Energy, IL) and the visiting Meridian Bobcats (Mounds, IL), observed Agape Christian's volleyball team top Meridian by a count of 2-0.

The Knights (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Shawnee (Wolf Lake, IL). The Redskins enter the South Egyptian contest with a 4-6 record. In their last contest, Shawnee was knocked off by Century (Ullin, IL), 2-1, in a league contest.

Next, the Bobcats meet the Armstrong Trojans (Armstrong, IL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 14. Meridian will attempt to move on its 0-4 season record. The Trojans enter the contest with a 4-6 record after their 2-1 league loss to Salt Fork (Sidell, IL).
