The Apponequet Regional Lakers volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Middleborough Sachems to 1 in the Lakers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Lakers now have a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Greater New Bedford RVT for a South Coast outing on Monday, September 16. Apponequet Regional will play a Bears team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Dartmouth (South Dartmouth, MA). The Bears record now stands at 5-0.

With the loss, Middleborough drops to 0-5 on the campaign. The Sachems host Randolph (Randolph, MA) to play the Blue Devils in a South Shore outing on Monday, September 16. The Blue Devils come into the outing with a record of 0-2. Randolph lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against Rockland (Rockland, MA)
