In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Mount St. Mary Academy Lions volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Blair Academy Bucs.
The Lions (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Voorhees (Glen Gardner, NJ). The Vikings enter the Skyland - Delaware West challenge with a 5-1 record. In their last challenge, Voorhees beat Hackettstown (Hackettstown, NJ), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Bucs meet the St. Benedict's Prep Gray Bees (Newark, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 14. Blair Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Gray Bees enter the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Newark Tech (Newark, NJ).
