Texas High School Volleyball - Grand Prairie overwhelmed by Bowie

September 13, 2024: Arlington, TX 76018

The Bowie Volunteers topped the visiting Grand Prairie Gophers volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Friday's league game.

Next up, the Volunteers confront the Sam Houston Texans (Arlington, TX) in a 6A Region I District 8 game, on Tuesday, September 17. Bowie will attempt to advance on its 9-5 season record. The Texans go into the game with a 12-9 record after their 3-1 league loss to South Grand Prairie (Grand Prairie, TX).

The Gophers (6-8) will now prepare for their game against Martin (Arlington, TX). The Warriors go into the 6A Region I District 8 game with a 17-10 record. In their last game, Martin gained a win over Lamar (Arlington, TX), 3-0, in a league game.
