Arizona High School Volleyball - Buckeye tips Willow Canyon

The Buckeye Hawks (Buckeye, AZ) volleyball held off the visiting Willow Canyon Wildcats (Surprise, AZ), 2-1 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Hawks now possess a 10-2 record. They play next when they host Verrado for a 5A - Desert West outing on Tuesday, September 17. Buckeye will play a Vipers team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Millennium (Goodyear, AZ). The Vipers record now stands at 0-4.

With the loss, Willow Canyon drops to 5-3 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Estrella Foothills (Goodyear, AZ) to play the Wolves in a non-league outing on Friday, September 13. The Wolves come into the outing with a record of 4-1. Estrella Foothills won 3-1 in their recent non-league outing against ALA - Queen Creek (Queen Creek, AZ)
