In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Zimmerman Thunder volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the DeLaSalle Islanders.

The Thunder (4-4) will now prepare for their challenge against DeLaSalle (Minneapolis, MN). The Islanders come into the non-league challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, DeLaSalle was beaten by Academy of Holy Angels (Richfield, MN), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Islanders meet the Zimmerman Thunder (Zimmerman, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 13. DeLaSalle will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Thunder come into the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 3-0 league win over St. Francis (St. Francis, MN).
