The Jefferson Mustangs volleyball squad (San Antonio, TX), dropped 3-0 in Friday's league battle with the host Edison Golden Bears (San Antonio, TX)

With the win, Edison improves its record to 12-13 on the season. The Golden Bears travel to Seguin (Seguin, TX) to encounter the Matadors in a 5A Region IV District 27 battle on Tuesday, September 17. The Matadors go into the battle with a record of 16-17. Seguin won 3-0 in their recent non-league battle against Marion (Marion, TX)

The Mustangs now own a 5-20 record. They put it on the line next when they host Highlands for a 5A Region IV District 27 battle on Tuesday, September 17. Jefferson will encounter a Owls squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Fox Tech (San Antonio, TX). The Owls record now stands at 11-11.
