The Little River Academy Bumblebees topped the host Rogers Eagles volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Friday's league game.

Next up, the Bumblebees confront the Rockdale Tigers (Rockdale, TX) in a 3A Region III District 19 game, on Tuesday, September 17. Little River Academy will attempt to advance on its 9-14 season record. The Tigers go into the game with a 4-10 record after their 3-0 league loss to Lexington (Lexington, TX).

The Eagles (4-7) will now prepare for their game against McGregor (McGregor, TX). The Bulldogs go into the non-league game with a 10-8 record. In their last game, McGregor went down by Lorena (Lorena, TX), 3-0, in a non-league game.
