In Friday's league challenge, the visiting South El Monte Eagles volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Mountain View Vikings.

The Eagles (11-6) will now prepare for their challenge against EF Academy (Pasadena, CA). The EF Academy enter the non-league challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, EF Academy was beaten by Mayfield (Pasadena, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Vikings meet the Rosemead Panthers (Rosemead, CA) in a Mission Valley challenge, on Monday, September 16. Mountain View will attempt to upgrade on its 2-15 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 2-8 record after their 3-0 league win over Arroyo (El Monte, CA).
