Northern Highlands Highlanders (Allendale, NJ) boosters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Paramus Spartans (Paramus, NJ), 2-0 in a league test.

With the win, Northern Highlands improves its record to 2-1 on the season. The Highlanders host Hackensack (Hackensack, NJ) to face the Comets in a Big North - Freedom test on Monday, September 16. The Comets go into the test with a record of 2-2.

The Spartans now own a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dumont for a non-league test on Monday, September 16. Paramus will face a Huskies squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Fort Lee (Fort Lee, NJ). The Huskies record now stands at 0-3.
