In Friday's league challenge, the host Pilot Point Bearcats volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Valley View Eagles.

The Bearcats (1-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Whitesboro (Whitesboro, TX). The Bearcats come into the 3A Region II District 10 challenge with a 16-11 record. In their last challenge, Whitesboro lost by Ponder (Ponder, TX), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Eagles play the Callisburg Wildcats (Gainesville, TX) in a 3A Region II District 10 challenge, on Tuesday, September 17. Valley View will attempt to upgrade on its 5-15 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 4-14 record after their 3-0 league loss to Paradise (Paradise, TX).
