The Ponder Lions (Ponder, TX) volleyball knocked off the visiting Whitesboro Bearcats (Whitesboro, TX), 3-0 in Friday's league bout.

The Lions now possess a 21-4 record. They play next when they travel to Boyd for a 3A Region II District 10 bout on Tuesday, September 17. Ponder will clash with a Yellowjackets team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Peaster (Peaster, TX). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 22-2.

With the loss, Whitesboro drops to 16-11 on the campaign. The Bearcats host Pilot Point (Pilot Point, TX) to clash with the Bearcats in a 3A Region II District 10 bout on Tuesday, September 17.
