In Saturday's league outing, the visiting Walker-Hackensack-Akeley Wolves soccer squad scored a tight 5-0 victory over the Crookston Pirates.

The Wolves (4-3) will now prepare for their outing against Melrose (Melrose, MN). The Dutchmen come into the Class A Section 8 test with a 0-6 record. In their last test, Melrose was overwhelmed by Little Falls (Little Falls, MN), 8-0, in a league test.

The Pirates now have a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pelican Rapids for a non-league test on Thursday, September 18. Crookston will clash with a Vikings team coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Crookston (Crookston, MN). The Vikings record now stands at 1-4.
