The Broomfield Eagles routed the host Columbine Rebels softball team by a margin of 10-1 in Saturday's non-league battle.
The Eagles now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Strasburg for a non-league battle on Monday, September 15. Broomfield will confront a Indians team coming off a 9-8 non-league loss to Eaton (Eaton, CO). The Indians record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, Columbine drops to 3-4 on the campaign. The Rebels host Chatfield (Littleton, CO) to meet the Chargers in a challenge on Tuesday, September 16. The Chargers go into the challenge with a record of 8-0. Chatfield won 14-0 in their recent league challenge against Lakewood (Lakewood, CO)
