California High School Volleyball - McClatchy edged by Laguna Creek

The McClatchy Lions volleyball squad (Sacramento, CA), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Laguna Creek Cardinals (Elk Grove, CA)

With the win, Laguna Creek improves its record to 8-3 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Bishop Manogue (Reno, NV) to meet the Miners in a non-league contest on Saturday, September 13. The Miners enter the contest with a record of 2-1.

Next, the Lions meet the Inderkum Tigers (Sacramento, CA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, September 15. McClatchy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Tigers enter the contest with a 1-5 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Granite Bay (Granite Bay, CA).
