In Saturday's non-league outing, the host Jefferson Jaguars soccer squad scored a tight 5-4 win over the Apple Valley Eagles.

The Jaguars (5-2) will now prepare for their outing against Waconia (Waconia, MN). The Wildcats enter the non-league test with a 5-2 record. In their last test, Waconia was tipped by Benilde-St. Margaret's (St. Louis Park, MN), 3-2, in a non-league test.

The Eagles now sport a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they host Eastview for a Class AA Section 3 outing on Tuesday, September 16. Apple Valley will confront a Lightning squad coming off a 0-0 non-league Park (Cottage Grove, MN). The Lightning record now stands at 7-0.
