The Herron Achaeans (Indianapolis, IN) soccer nipped the host Indianapolis Shortridge Blue Devils (Indianapolis, IN), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The Achaeans now hold a 1-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bethesda Christian for a non-league contest on Tuesday, September 16. Herron will battle a Patriots team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Park Tudor (Indianapolis, IN). The Patriots record now stands at 4-5.
The Blue Devils (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against Indianapolis Lutheran (Indianapolis, IN). The Saints enter the non-league contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, Indianapolis Lutheran was nipped by Indianapolis Bishop Chatard (Indianapolis, IN), 8-0, in a non-league contest.
