West Virginia High School Soccer - Jefferson University

In Saturday's non-league outing, the host Jefferson Cougars soccer squad scored a tight 2-0 victory over the University Hawks.

The Cougars (2-5) will now prepare for their outing against Martinsburg (Martinsburg, WV). The Bulldogs go into the Eastern Panhandle outing with a 4-3 record. In their last outing, Martinsburg got by Washington (Charles Town, WV), 3-2, in a league outing.

Next up, the Hawks play the John Marshall Monarchs (Glen Dale, WV) in a non-league outing, on Monday, September 15. University will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record. The Monarchs go into the outing with a 5-4 record after their 8-1 league loss to Steubenville (Steubenville, OH).
