In Saturday's league outing, the visiting Rice Memorial Green Knights soccer squad scored a tight 4-1 victory over the Milton Yellowjackets.

The Green Knights (3-0) will now prepare for their outing against Missisquoi Valley (Swanton, VT). The Thunderbirds go into the Lake outing with a 0-2 record. In their last outing, Missisquoi Valley by Mt. Abraham (Bristol, VT), 9-0, in a league outing.

In their next game, the Yellowjackets clash with the Winooski Spartans (Winooski, VT) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, September 16. Milton will attempt to advance on its 2-2 season record. The Spartans come into the test with a 1-1 record after their 4-1 non-league win over Middlebury (Middlebury, VT).
