The Riverside Pirates smashed the host Nyssa Bulldogs soccer squad by a margin of 8-0 in Saturday's league bout.

The Pirates now hold a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Irrigon for a 3A/2A/1A-SD6 Special District 6 bout on Tuesday, September 16. Riverside will play a Knights squad coming off a 9-1 non-league loss to Trout Lake (Trout Lake, WA). The Knights record now stands at 1-3.

With the loss, Nyssa moves to 2-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Ontario (Ontario, OR) to face the Tigers in a non-league game on Thursday, September 18. The Tigers come into the game with a record of 3-0. Ontario won 2-0 in their recent non-league game against Madras (Madras, OR)
