The crowd at Saturday's league bout between the Pawnee Black Bears (Pawnee, OK) and the host Caney Valley Trojans (Ramona, OK), observed Pawnee's softball team prevail over Caney Valley by a tally of 12-4.

The Black Bears (8-7) will now prepare for their contest against Mounds (Mounds, OK). The Golden Eagles enter the 2A contest with a 7-12 record. In their last contest, Mounds was routed by Kellyville (Kellyville, OK), 4-1, in a non-league contest.

The Trojans now hold a 15-7 record. They play next when they travel to Barnsdall for a non-league contest on Tuesday, September 16. Caney Valley will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 8-0 non-league loss to Pawhuska (Pawhuska, OK). The Panthers record now stands at 2-8.
