The Waukomis Chiefs (Waukomis, OK) softball routed the host Dover Longhorns (Dover, OK), 9-1 in Saturday's non-league outing.
The Chiefs now sport a 17-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Okarche for a Class A outing on Saturday, September 13. Waukomis will encounter a Warriors team coming off a 5-1 non-league win over Kremlin-Hillsdale (Kremlin, OK). The Warriors record now stands at 14-8.
With the loss, Dover moves to 2-5 on the season. The Longhorns travel to Carney (Carney, OK) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Saturday, September 13. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 10-7. Carney lost 11-1 in their recent non-league test against Waukomis (Waukomis, OK)
