Grove Ridgerunners (Grove, OK) backers left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Kansas Comets (Kansas, OK), 4-2 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Grove upgrades its record to 12-9 on the year. The Ridgerunners travel to Chelsea (Chelsea, OK) to play the Dragons in a non-league game on Saturday, September 13. The Dragons enter the game with a record of 12-14.

The Comets now own a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dewey for a 3A battle on Monday, September 15. Kansas will confront a Bulldoggers team coming off a 9-5 non-league win over Sperry (Sperry, OK). The Bulldoggers record now stands at 20-7.
