With the triumph, Soper improves its record to 5-1 on the year. The Bears travel to Hartshorne (Hartshorne, OK) to battle the Miners in a non-league match on Friday, September 19. The Miners go into the match with a record of 18-6.

In their next game, the Miners battle the Coalgate Wildcats (Coalgate, OK) in a 2A match, on Tuesday, September 16. Hartshorne will attempt to better on its 18-5 season record. The Wildcats go into the match with a 16-5 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Tupelo (Tupelo, OK).
