Nebraska High School Softball - Highway 6 knocked off by Kearney Catholic

September 13, 2025: Kearney, NE 68847

In Saturday's non-league test, the Kearney Catholic Stars (Kearney, NE) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Highway 6 Trailblazers (Holdrege, NE), by a tally of 11-0.

Next, the Stars meet the Crete Cardinals (Crete, NE) in a non-league test, on Saturday, September 13. Kearney Catholic will attempt to advance on its 13-3 season record. The Cardinals go into the test with a 12-2 record after their 14-6 league win over Aurora (Aurora, NE).

With the loss, Highway 6 moves to 4-8 on the season. The Trailblazers travel to Cozad (Cozad, NE) to encounter the Haymakers in a non-league outing on Saturday, September 13. The Haymakers come into the outing with a record of 7-6. Cozad won 5-1 in their recent non-league outing against Southern Valley/Alma (Oxford, NE)
