The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the O'Neill Eagles (O'Neill, NE) and the visiting Ord Chanticleers (Ord, NE), observed O'Neill's softball team prevail over Ord by a tally of 11-0.

The Eagles (10-8) will now prepare for their bout against Lexington (Lexington, NE). The Minutemen go into the non-league bout with a 0-11 record. In their last bout, Lexington was routed by McCook (McCook, NE), 14-4, in a league contest.

The Chanticleers now hold a 5-12 record. They play next when they travel to Hershey for a non-league contest on Saturday, September 13. Ord will battle a Panthers team coming off a 12-0 league win over Chase County (Imperial, NE). The Panthers record now stands at 3-10.
