In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Sperry Pirates softball team scored a tight 11-5 victory over the Skiatook Bulldogs.

The Pirates (12-8) will now prepare for their match against Dewey (Dewey, OK). The Bulldoggers go into the non-league match with a 19-6 record. In their last match, Dewey tipped Broken Arrow (Broken Arrow, OK), 5-1, in a non-league game.

The Bulldogs now hold a 9-11 record. They play next when they travel to Charles Page for a non-league game on Saturday, September 13. Skiatook will play a Sandites squad coming off a 14-0 non-league win over Putnam City West (Oklahoma City, OK). The Sandites record now stands at 12-9.
