In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Academy of Our Lady of Peace Pilots volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Sage Creek Bobcats.

The Pilots (9-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Carlsbad (Carlsbad, CA). The Lancers come into the non-league test with a 11-4 record. In their last test, Carlsbad was edged by La Jolla Country Day (La Jolla, CA), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Bobcats now sport a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to San Marcos for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 16. Sage Creek will face a Knights squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Scripps Ranch (San Diego, CA). The Knights record now stands at 11-5.
