In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Athens Christian Eagles volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Veritas Academy Gryphon.
The Eagles (9-15) will now prepare for their challenge against Bethlehem Christian Academy (Bethlehem, GA). The Knights come into the non-league challenge with a 8-8 record. In their last challenge, Bethlehem Christian Academy lost by Loganville Christian Academy (Loganville, GA), 3-1, in a league challenge.
Next, the Gryphon play the Bible Baptist Christian Wolves (Statesboro, GA) in a test, on Monday, September 15. Veritas Academy will attempt to advance on its 9-7 season record. The Wolves go into the test with a 0-6 record after their 3-0 league loss to Alleluia Community (Augusta, GA).
