In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting San Pedro Pirates volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Bellflower Buccaneers.

With the win, San Pedro improves its record to 3-10 on the season. The Pirates host Rancho Dominguez (Long Beach, CA) to face the Lobos in a Marine test on Monday, September 15. The Lobos go into the test with a record of 2-4. Rancho Dominguez won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Dorsey (Los Angeles, CA)

The Buccaneers now own a 1-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gahr for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 16. Bellflower will face a Gladiators squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Villa Park (Villa Park, CA). The Gladiators record now stands at 14-8.
