The Malden Green Wave nudged the visiting Bloomfield Wildcats volleyball team by a margin of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league outing.
The Green Wave now possess a 9-2 record. They play next when they travel to Owensville for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 13. Malden will play a Dutchmen team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Oak Ridge (Oak Ridge, MO). The Dutchmen record now stands at 4-4.
With the loss, Bloomfield drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Gideon (Gideon, MO) to confront the Bulldogs in a Class 1 District 2 game on Friday, September 19. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 11-1.
