The Rapid City Central Cobblers (Rapid City, SD) volleyball knocked off the visiting Brookings Bobcats (Brookings, SD), 3-0 in Saturday's league bout.
The Cobblers now possess a 9-4 record. They play next when they travel to Douglas for a AA District 1 bout on Tuesday, September 16. Rapid City Central will clash with a Patriots team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Lead-Deadwood (Lead, SD). The Patriots record now stands at 1-11.
With the loss, Brookings falls to 4-8 on the year. The Bobcats host Brandon Valley (Brandon, SD) to battle the Lynx in a AA District 1 contest on Tuesday, September 16. The Lynx enter the contest with a record of 6-2. Brandon Valley won 3-1 in their recent league contest against Watertown (Watertown, SD)
