In Saturday's non-league bout, the Cape Henlopen Vikings (Lewes, DE) volleyball team knocked off the visiting Ursuline Academy Raiders (Wilmington, DE), by a margin of 3-1.
The Vikings now possess a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to Sussex Central for a Henlopen North bout on Tuesday, September 16. Cape Henlopen will clash with a Golden Knights team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Dover (Dover, DE). The Golden Knights record now stands at 1-2.
The Raiders (1-2) will now prepare for their match against Newark Charter School (Newark, DE). The Patriots go into the non-league battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, Newark Charter School achieved victory over Concord (Wilmington, DE), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
