In Saturday's non-league match, the Hobbs Eagles (Hobbs, NM) volleyball squad tipped the visiting Carlsbad Cavemen/Cavegirls (Carlsbad, NM), by a count of 3-2.
Next up, the Eagles confront the Artesia Bulldogs (Artesia, NM) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, September 16. Hobbs will attempt to move on its 2-7 season record. The Bulldogs enter the match with a 7-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Hobbs (Hobbs, NM).
The Cavemen/Cavegirls (1-7) will now prepare for their match against Lovington (Lovington, NM). The Wildcats enter the non-league match with a 4-4 record. In their last bout, Lovington was nudged by Miyamura (Gallup, NM), 3-1, in a non-league bout.
