California High School Volleyball - St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy can't get by Carson

The Carson Colts edged the host St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy Warriors volleyball team by a tally of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league outing.

The Colts now have a 6-6 record. They play next when they travel to California Academy of Math & Science for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 13. Carson will play a Coyotes team coming off a 3-0 league win over Wildwood (Los Angeles, CA). The Coyotes record now stands at 8-1.

With the loss, St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy moves to 7-10 on the season. The Warriors travel to Bishop Conaty-Loretto (Los Angeles, CA) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league game on Saturday, September 13. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 1-3. Bishop Conaty-Loretto won 3-0 in their recent league game against Serra (Gardena, CA)
