In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Central Christian Cougars volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the South Haven Cardinals.

The Cougars (4-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Pretty Prairie (Pretty Prairie, KS). The Bulldogs come into the Heart of the Plains challenge with a 5-5 record. In their last challenge, Pretty Prairie beat Caldwell (Caldwell, KS), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Coming up next, the Cardinals play the West Elk Patriots (Howard, KS) in a South Central Border outing, on Tuesday, September 16. South Haven will attempt to better on its 1-6 season record. The Patriots come into the outing with a 1-9 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Remington (Whitewater, KS).
