Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Chadwick Dolphins (Palos Verdes Peninsula, CA) and the host Peninsula Panthers (Rolling Hills Estates, CA), observed Chadwick's volleyball team hold off Peninsula by a count of 2-1.

The Dolphins (10-11) will now prepare for their battle against South (Torrance, CA). The Spartans go into the non-league battle with a 11-3 record. In their last battle, South tipped Chatsworth (Chatsworth, CA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

The Panthers now own a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West for a Pioneer battle on Thursday, September 18. Peninsula will meet a Warriors team coming off a 3-1 league loss to South (Torrance, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 13-7.
